Cassiano Group provides services, which are completely modelled on the needs of every vessel by actively collaborating with many Italian shipyards. The fire extinguishing systems are designed to respond to the specific needs of the reality in which they will be installed. Our personnel will offer its support step by step in each phase, from the choice of the fire extinguishing system to the periodic maintenance of the same. Based on the function that a system provides, firefighting systems may be categorized in fire detection or fire extinguishing. While the first enter in action in the earliest moments, from the development of the fire by detecting smoke and sending out the alarm, the second begin their action soon afterwards to extinguish and avoid the spreading of flames.
Our company offers the following systems:
Bsco Pre-engineered Fixed firefighting systems that use the extinguishing gas HFC227, a gas that is not damaging for people and does not leave any residues. They are approved for installation on vessels up to 24 meters long or up to a net volume of 170 m3. They are easily installed in machinery rooms or other areas normally not occupied by people, within the vessel. They have a capacity of extinguishing fires rather quickly. These systems are available in either manual, automatic or manual-automatic versions. They do not require any pipework and can be installed on both walls and ceilings with its specific brackets that are supplied with the system. For an additional protection, we also offer an automatic stop system for the motors and the ventilation areas.
Marine Fire engineered Fixed firefighting systems for bigger vessels, over 24 meters long and commercial vessels without limits in volume for the areas to be protected. These are available with the following types of gas: • HFC 227, a transparent extinguishing gas that acts on the combustion process by absorbing heat. It does not leave residues and it is not dangerous for the equipment or for the health of people. • NOVEC 1230, a new generation of extinguisher in liquid form. It is very effective and not dangerous for the health of people or the environment. • Co2, a traditional and economic extinguisher, it acts on the fire by taking out oxygen from it.
Fire detection systems A detection system that is simple in its conception, but sophisticated and innovative in terms of both its capability of detecting and the computer management of the system. It is programmable for the standard and individual monitoring of every single sensor and for the emergency communication both through satellite or cell phone. The new panel with smaller dimensions allows this system to be ideal even for yachts.

Aerosol System Stat-X® fire suppression is an advanced aerosol technology that protects enclosed special hazards. Aerosols are an effective new alternative to traditional special hazard fire protection. Stat-X fire suppression is currently used worldwide in many critical applications. Stat-X aerosol fire suppression should be considered when evaluating the use of halon substitutes, CO2,inert gas, dry chemical, or water mist.
